Castlerock Community Association Social media and website Policy 2023
The Castlerock Community Association (CCA) provides a website, Facebook page and
Instagram account for the information of both local residents and visitors to the
village and surrounding areas.
The website contains information about local amenities, businesses and points of
interest including places of worship.
Our Facebook page is regularly updated.
Website:
The CCA provides a free entry to our online business directory for any business local
to Castlerock and Articlave. Businesses can list a free entry by self service or by
applying to our website admin at info@castlerockni.co.uk.
Listings will be reviewed before posting to assure the listings comply with our
editorial policy.
We are always looking for content to add to our website and welcome any
submissions.
Facebook and Instagram:
Our Facebook page and Instagram account are for the benefit of residents, visitors
and businesses local to Castlerock and Articlave. Posts can include information about
businesses operating in our community. Posts on the CCA Facebook Page or
Instagram account about local businesses are for information only and do not
constitute an endorsement by the CCA.
The CCA regularly posts items of interest and welcomes content and comments from
our visitors.
Editorial Policy:
Our Facebook page is monitored regularly.
We do not discriminate against any views but the CCA reserve the right to delete the
following, or to block users who post the following:
Obscenity, nudity, defamation or hate speech (Speech that targets people or groups
based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, or any other protected status)
Comments/posts that threaten to harm individuals or groups.
Multiple off-topic posts or repetitive posts that are copied and pasted
Personal information including but not limited to e-mail addresses, telephone
numbers, mailing addresses, or identification numbers
In short: Be respectful. Be smart. Be human. Add to the discussion and help grow
our community in constructive ways.
All information posted by the CCA on the website and social media platforms is in
compliance with data protection requirements.
